Typically a good point of engagement for senior HR executives and university officials, the Talent, Workforce & Education Committee determines the Council’s priorities and initiatives in the following areas:

  • Workforce Development
  • STEM Education
  • K-12 Education
  • Higher Education

This team helps lead the talent-related aspects of the MATTERS dashboard and, utilizing MATTERS-produced information and analysis, helps empower data-driven decision making by educators, high tech employers and public officials to drive Massachusetts’ competitiveness, talent development and job creation.

The Committee is led by its co-chairs Al Bunshaft, Senior Vice President, Global Affairs, Dassault Systèmes; Susan Fallon, Vice President of Global Strategy and Business Development, Monster Government Solutions; and Stephen Flavin, Vice President and Dean, Academic & Corporate Development, Worcester Polytechnic Institute.
